No. With Yard Guard, it’s best not to water it in.

A light rain will be fine even days after your application. If a heavy rain falls within 24 hours after applying, you may need to re-apply.

Only apply Yard Guard last and after the other products have been watered in if you are going to apply it the same day as other products. It’s best to not apply anything else for 2 days after the Yard Guard has been applied.

You can apply it to the bare soil before the seed is put down if you have an existing insect infestation you are trying to combat, but it’s best not to apply Yard Guard to new seed.

Yes! Just make sure you give your lawn at least 2 days after a Yard Guard application before your service comes.

All of our products are safe for pets and children, so they can go on the lawn right away or even be out there while you are applying the product.

Yard Guard is a stabilized product and should work well for at least five years after purchase, or more. There may be some separation of oils over time, but you can simple shake the bottle to re-mix before spraying.

Yes! Our products work with any kind of sprayer or fertigation system. 

You can apply Yard Guard all year long in the South where the temperatures do not go below 45°F, and in the North you can begin to apply in the very early spring to very late fall, up to when there is snow cover or temperatures are regularly below 45°F.
