Organic Root Fertilizing
Once a season, while the plants are dormant, we apply a heavy application of a combination Organic Fertilizer/Soil Conditioner for your foundation planting, or any shrubs or trees that you'd like fertilized. Organic fertilizing improves health, color and flowering in a safe and natural way. The soil conditioner will help improve soil structure and bioactivity, and will also enhance root development.
Oil Sprays
A fine mist of oil is sprayed on the plant in order to coat insect eggs and scale. The oil kills the insects them by not allowing them to breathe. It is one of the safest ways to control scale, mites, and larvae. We offer both Dormant Oil Spray, usually done early in the spring or late in the fall, and Summer Oil Spray.
Insecticidal Soap Spray
Soap sprays have long been used by organic gardeners to kill and repel pests. This is a summer application. We consider this to be a safe insect deterrent that also helps fight fungus.
